Sail to islands, hold your shovel and release in the green zone. Complete fossil sets, trade them at Dr. Ivy’s DNA Lab, incubate eggs and feed the newborns until they grow. Prehistoric Farm also offers fishing, diving, flying partners and a team spear encounter with Mosasaurus. The official experience supports PC, mobile and console.

FIRST SESSION

From your first dig to a newborn

Complete beginner guide →
  1. Equip and sail

    Take your starter shovel, go to Home’s docks, use Launch Boat and travel to Cambrian.

  2. Complete a fossil set

    Approach a glowing dig site. Hold M1 and release in green. Check Fossils for a complete, combinable set.

  3. Get an egg at Home

    Return to the DNA Lab and Dr. Ivy. Choose Get Egg, then Visit the Incubator.

  4. Place, warm and hatch

    Put the egg into an incubator. Wait for its own timer, hatch it and place the newborn on your ranch.

  5. Feed for growth

    Keep Belly above half. Meat and vegetables are collected food options; check the animal before spending your food reserve.

Hatching an egg and growing an animal are different steps. Read the DNA readiness cues or fix stalled growth at the point where you are stuck.

October 11 creator reports describe a fishing revamp, five new rods, ranch upgrades and a new key-gated boss. October 12 guides provide the Clara and Pacific routes. An October 5 stream’s “came out today” wording is creator-reported release context, separate from Roblox’s October 2 experience-created date.
